Fundraising

Our races provide significant funding for various charities. These include:

Gillian's Place (Valentine's 5k)

More than $4,000 raised over the last three years. 2012 amount still to be confirmed, but likely over $2,500.

The Brain Injury Association of Niagara (Head for the Hills trail race)

$25,000 raised in 2011, and well over $20,000 in 2010 and 2009.

Autism Ontario (12 Mile Creek Half Marathon)

$250 raised in 2011.

Sick Kids' Hospital (Niagara Ultra)

$6,000 raised in 2011 for a total of $15,000.

The Niagara Bruce Trail Club (Niagara Ultra)

$6,200 raised in 2011.

Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.

This donation was not connected to a race. Club members donated $2,160 during the 2011 Christmas season.
