Running Routes
Great Places To Run:
The Welland Canals Parkway Trail is a
paved recreational path beginning in the City of St. Catharines at
Lake Ontario and ending at Lake Erie in Port Colborne. The trail can
be taken full circle by heading from Port Colborne to Fort Erie,
then back along the Niagara Parkway through Niagara Falls and
N.O.T.L and then back along Lakeshore Road to St. Catharines.
Short Hills Provincial Park
includes a number of marked trails that are great for running and
offer beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. A run or walk in the
park is always exciting and challenging and is one of our favorite
Sunday morning trail running locations. Short Hills is also the
location for our Club's 'Head for the Hills 10K' race billed as 'The
Toughest 10K in Ontario'.
The Bruce Trail There are
more than 130 km of trails associated with the Niagara Section of
the Bruce Trail.
