The St. Catharines Roadrunners & Walkers
Why
join the St. Catharines Road Runners & Walkers Club?
Most people join a running club to meet other people with similar interests and find new training partners. Partners that can push them to a new level or just provide companionship and conversation during a long training run. For many of our members the social aspects of the club are also a major consideration. Many long term friendships have been formed and maintained over the miles.
Wednesday nights are fundamental for our club members. It’s a night where we catch up on announcements about upcoming races or members achievements over the past week. We hear about other non-club races, upcoming charity and social events such as our Summer BBQ and Christmas Party. Just find a group that’s running or walking at your pace and join them to enjoy the talk and learn new routes. Stick around after for a drink, some food and some casual conversation – you’re sure to have a great time!
Some groups prefer trails to roads for a number of reasons. Almost every Sunday a group meets to run on some of the nicest trails in Niagara. It’s a great way to experience some of the best that Niagara has to offer from the Bruce Trail to the Niagara Parkway.
For more information on our club and how to join please see the
About Us section of our site.
Hope to see you at the Club!!
