January 2008

The Fool's Marathon - Jan. 19^th 2008 at the Hydro Building (foot of Lockhart St. same starting location as the 12 Mile Creek). 9:00 am start time for the "Full Fools" but others often start around 11:00 to run the 1/2 and end up finishing with the Full Fools. No pre-registration required - just come on out.

Annual St. Catharines Rowing Club New Years Day 5 K – Jan. 1st 2008
A great way to kick of the New Year and support rowing in St. Catharines!

February 2008

Performance Hyundai 5K Valentines Day Run – Sunday February 10th 2008
All proceeds donated to the “Help a Child Smile” foundation in benefit of children with cancer.

March 2008

Annual General Meeting (AGM) - Tuesday March 25th, 2008 - Ina Grafton Gage Senior's Home - Details to follow.

April 2008

Do a Du (13th annual) – April 20th 2008 - once again starting at Club Roma, St. Catharines, at 8:30 AM - admission is free but participate at your own risk - all participants must be members in good standing of the St. Catharines Roadrunners and Walkers or another sanctioned club with valid club liability insurance. Come on out, have some fun and give duathlon a try the format is 5km run, 23km bike, 5 km run.

Head for the Hills 10K – Saturday, April 26th 2008
Billed as the “Toughest 10K in Ontario” this is a great cross country style race through beautiful Short Hills Provincial Park – Hills are guaranteed!

Niagara Ultra – 50K and 1/2 Marathon – Saturday, June 21st, 2008
