Winter 12 Mile Creek Half Marathon (formerly the Fool Marathon)
Saturday, January 21, 2023
For those who are not familiar with this unofficial, self-guided run, it is quite different to any of the other club races. The course is the same as the Twelve Mile Creek Half Marathon held in June (see below) but there is no entry fee, no aid stations and also no marshals! It is self-navigated and self-timed, so it is important that you run with someone who knows the course if you are doing this event for the first time, or if you have not run the Twelve Mile Creek half.
The half marathon will begin at 9 am, and you are also welcome to run a 10k version starting at 10. (Just turn around after 5k.)
It will probably be cold and slippery in parts. We are holding a social event after at Cat's Caboose starting about 11:30 am. Nachos will be provided!
