2026 Valentine's 5k supporting Gillian's Place

Race location update
The St. Catharines Roadrunners and Walkers has supported Gillian’s Place for many years by donating funds raised from our Valentine’s 5k race. The 2026 event will be held again on the Welland Canals Parkway in St. Catharines, but starting near the Lock 3 Museum, 1932 Welland Canals Parkway. Race kit pick up and the awards ceremony will be held in the Lockview Lounge, which is on the first floor above the museum. We look forward to your continued support and we value your participation greatly! This race offers great value. Walkers are always welcome. The 2025 race results are here!

In April 2025 we presented a cheque for $4,000 to Gillian's Place
This is our longest established race and raises much needed funds for Gillian's Place, supporting and empowering abused women in Niagara. Come out, run a great course and enjoy Niagara's best post-race party with the usual St. Catharines Road Runners' hospitality. All proceeds go to Gillian's Place.
Again this year - chocolate finishers' medals! No refunds or deferrals, after all this run is for Charity!
Couples must finish the race together. (Hey, it's a Valentines event)!! There is an award for the FASTEST COUPLE.
Couples must register together. Remember to click "Add Another Registrant". Discount applied at checkout.

Thank you for the outstanding support of our participants, sponsors and volunteers.
As a result of the 2024 race we presented a cheque for $3,830 to Gillian's Place. Our 2023 donation was $4,180. The 2020 donation was $3,200. In 2019 it was $3,600 and in 2018 we donated $4,000.
