This is our longest established race and raises much needed funds for Gillian's Place supporting and empowering abused women in Niagara.   The 2024 race results are  here

Race location update
The St. Catharines Roadrunners and Walkers has supported Gillian’s Place for many years by donating funds raised from our Valentine’s 5k race. Due to new city of St. Catharines regulations requiring third party traffic control to close the roads used on the course, at a significant cost, we have decided to move the race to an exciting new venue at Charles Ansell Park at Lock 1. Race kit pick up and the awards ceremony will be held at Grantham Lions Hall.  We look forward to your continued support and we value your participation greatly!  This race offers great value. Walkers are always welcome.

​​Come out, run a great course and enjoy Niagara's best post-race party with the usual St. Catharines Road Runners' hospitality. All proceeds go to Gillian's Place.  As a result of the 2024 race we presented a cheque for $3,830  to Gillian's Place.

Register by Saturday, January 27, 2024 to be guaranteed a race shirt!

Again this year - chocolate finishers' medals!
No Refunds or deferrals, after all this run is for Charity!   NOTE: Runners must YIELD to vehicular traffic.

Couples must finish the race together. (Hey, it's a Valentines event)!!  There is an award for the FASTEST COUPLE.
Couples must register together. Remember to click "Add Another Registrant".  Discount applied at checkout.

In 2020 our oldest race celebrated its 40th year!   “Get Out There!” magazine calls it “a unique event” that offers “good value”, and said “It’s no wonder that people keep coming back year after year to this event.”

Thanks to the outstanding support of our participants, sponsors and volunteers, our 2023 donation to Gillian's Place was $4,180.  In 2018 we donated $4,000 and then another $3,600 in 2019. See below.  The 2020 donation was $3,200.
